Change the Station,

Change Your Vibration

Have you been watching the news? Do we even need to say it? It seems like the whole world is afraid for their lives and worried about the future.

We’re not going to talk about that – not in the way you might think, anyway.

So, just take a moment to close your eyes, relax, drop your shoulders, and... breathe... gently, slowly, easily. You can always allow yourself to do that. Give yourself thirty seconds like that.

How does that feel to you?

You just did Qigong healing – do you realize that?

It all begins with a moment of relaxation.

Spring Forest Qigong has helped tens of thousands of people to heal.

Not just their injuries and illness, their depression and anxiety, but even some of the most extraordinary of what have been called “untreatable” cancers and chronic conditions.

How?

It begins with that moment of relaxation. It’s so simple, but it’s so true.

Think of it like this.

Everything is energy, and energy is vibration. Your body is a symphony of vibrations. When all its organs and energy channels vibrate in unison, they make a beautiful music called “health.” When, little by little, each organ and energy channel loses its rhythm and gets out of tune, your body becomes a tangled clatter of vibrations. Chaos. Let it go like this long enough, and illness is the natural result. This is the Qigong view.

How do you bring harmony and health back to your body? How do you bring all its organs and energy channels into such a powerful, unified vibration of energy, into such overwhelming resonance that it effortlessly shakes off any lesser vibration or simply absorbs it harmlessly into its own greater harmony?

It begins with a moment of relaxation.

That moment of relaxation, of silence, of stillness, lets the clatter quiet, the bustle settle, opening the door for the return of your healing intelligence. In that moment of silence, stillness, and relaxation, your organs and energy channels have an opportunity to take up harmonious vibrations again. And in that moment of relaxation, you have an opportunity to use your consciousness to help your body to do that.

Do you believe you can do that?

We’re here to tell you – you can. But you don’t have to believe it, and you don’t have to believe us – you just have to be brave enough to give it a try.

We’re talking about Qigong, and the Five Element Qigong Healing Movements in particular.

Let’s make it even more plain.

We said everything is energy. That means your cells, your thoughts, your emotions, sunlight and wind, the food you eat. And that also means... we said we wouldn’t say it, but we will... viruses

And as far as your health goes, the Qigong view is that energy flows all through the body in channels. When the channels are open and energy is abundant, you experience health; when the channels get blocked, the body’s energy becomes unbalanced – too much here, too little there. Naturally, this affects the organs and how they work. If they start not to work well – within themselves and with each other, – the body creates all kinds of dysfunction and opens up to all kinds of outside influences. This is called illness or disease.

But it begins with energy blockages.

And what is the number one cause of energy blockages? Emotions. Unbalanced emotions. What you might call “negative” emotions.

Ah. Isn’t that interesting?

Qigong talks about five major organ energy-systems: the liver, the heart, the stomach, the lungs, and the kidneys. The people who developed Qigong thousands of years ago realized certain emotions relate to certain organ systems. So, if there’s too much of that emotion, that tells you its corresponding energy-system has problems, and when you indulge in that emotion too much or too strongly, it harms that energy-system.

Fear harms the kidney energy.

Worry and anxiety harm the stomach energy.

Anger and frustration harm the liver energy.

Here, we’re not talking about “good” or “bad,” “right” or “wrong,” but simply the observations Qigong Masters have made for thousands of years about how the body works, and how the mind and emotions relate to that. These Masters wanted to know how these things worked so they could enjoy perfect health for a long life.

Fear harms the kidney energy.

What is kidney energy? Kidney energy is your vitality. Your life-force. The energy your body uses to heal when it’s sick, and the energy it uses to support all its vital functions. Kidney energy is the most important energy in the body. While fear does serve to preserve life in moments of acute crisis, constant fear has the opposite effect, draining the energy you need for life, for health, and for healing.

Worry and anxiety harm the stomach energy, the pancreas and the spleen.

Thinking and thinking and thinking harms this energy. In the Qigong view, the pancreas is the body’s energy-switchboard. All the information from the body passes through it before it then sends energy in all directions to help. The pancreas determines how much energy goes where. So, indulging in too much thinking and too much worrying disturbs the stomach and pancreas energy, which means it can’t send the right amount of energy to the right parts of the body.

Do you think that helps the body to heal and to stay healthy – or not?

Anger and frustration harm the liver energy

In the Qigong view, the liver does 70% of the body’s detoxifying – not just the things we ingest as food or medicine or the things in the environment that get into the body, but chemicals our bodies make in response to stress. When the liver is overtaxed and overwhelmed, the body can’t detoxify fast enough. This means that not only will the body create its own dysfunction, but it will also be more susceptible to the influence of external pathogens.

Can you see now just how vital to our health an understanding of emotions is? Can you see the direct relation between unbalanced emotions, energy blockages, and illness?

Consider this, and then consider in that light how you choose to interact with the information around you, the energy it carries, and the energy it creates in your own body. Remember: in Qigong, we are studying and working with energy: how it works in the world and in the body, and how we can use that understanding to benefit ourselves and the world.

Now, what to do? Information is good, but knowing how it use it is better.

Earlier we said that we would talk about the Five Element movements. We said that, in Qigong, we use relaxation and consciousness to tap into the body’s innate healing intelligence. And we’ve been talking about negative emotions.

Quite simply, if negative emotions can block the body’s energy flow and lead to illness, then positive emotions have just as much power (and more!) to open the body’s energy channels and heal us. And not just heal us, but to strengthen our vitality, raise our immunity, and promote our longevity.

That is exactly why Master Lin created the Five Element Qigong Healing Movements.

The movements build and balance kidney energy – your healing energy, your vitality. They help to bring you stillness – not just while you practice, but even in your daily life. And they circulate and direct healing energy through every major energy channel in your body. With these channels open, coursing with vibrant healing energy, any new energy blockage that may form is briskly washed away.

But it’s more than that. The real key to Five Elements is the positive healing emotions coupled with the wisdom of the gentle movements. Each amplifies and intensifies the healing power of the other, creating a more complete healing method, generating more healing energy more quickly.

How does this sound?

In place of the fear that drains your life-force away – gratitude

In place of the worry that binds and constricts – peace

In place of the anger that slowly poisons your body and being – happiness

Can you feel gratitude, peace, and happiness? Can you even find... joy, even in the worst of times?

We’re here to tell you – yes! The evidence is in the experience of millennia, and in the transformed lives of thousands of our students and clients.

But again – you don’t have to believe it, you don’t have to believe them, and you don’t have to believe us. Really, all you have to do is give it a try. Do that much for yourself. What do you really have to lose?
