Recipe for Strengthening Vitality 




Support and strengthen Kidney energy in winter


Serving size: small bowl

Serves 4 people – enough for three days apiece



  • 1 cup black sesame seeds: soak for 2 hours, drain water
  • 2 cups of wood ear mushroom: soak for 2 hours, drain water and chop
  • 1 cup walnuts: soak for 2 hours and drain
  • 1 cup goji berries: soak for ½ hour and drain



  1. After all the soaking and chopping of ingredients, put all of it into a pot of water (1 gallon or a little more if needed) and bring to a boil
  2. After water has boiled, turn down the heat to low temperature and let cook for another ½ hour
  3. Keep the water this has cooked in
  4. After it has cooled down, put in a blender and then refrigerate


It makes enough for 4 people using small bowls

Drink this 3 times during the week

Drink this in the afternoon between 3-7 pm

Add honey to taste – You can have it cold or slightly warmed. Enjoy!
