SFQ Master Jim Nance will deliver a half-day post- conference workshop entitled "Maintaining a Positive Focus While Helping Others Heal" as part of the 2010 NQA (National Qigong Association) Conference "Qi=MC 2: Playing With Universal Energy" being held at the Oak Ridge Conference Center in Chaska, Minnesota from August 20-22, 2010. The workshop will take place from 2:00-4:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 22, 2010.

Come and see how breathing, gentle movements, mental focus, and sound work together for an overall soothing benefit.

SFQ ReachOut volunteers will be offering free energy balancing sessions at the Dragon Festival being held at Phalen Lake Park in St. Paul, Minnesota on Saturday, July 10 and Sunday, July 11, from 10:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.

The Dragon Festival is an annual event that was created to showcase the diverse Asian Pacific Islander cultural heritage within the Twin Cities. Now in it's 14th year, this family oriented festival continues to be the venue for the local Asian American community to come together and celebrate the well-loved folklore and pageantry of dragon boat racing. There also will be many activities such as cultural performances, martial arts demonstrations, foods, and children activities that promote cross-cultural understanding.
