SFQ Guild Update continued...
This site hosts the videos of the Guild meeting presentations for 2008 as well as the Guild Notes for those meetings. Announcements that were previously part of the Guild Notes are also posted separately on this site, along with a bulletin board for connecting with other members, arranging for transportation and lodging for events and sharing healing requests and stories.
The ReachOut section of the Guild site is still under development and should be on line shortly, and other sections are planned for the future. If you are a member and have questions about this site, please contact us at support@sfqguild.com.
The Guild will host a Volunteer Appreciation Day for all the Guild members who have generously volunteered their time and talents at Guild events during the past year. The event will be held on Sunday, December 7. Volunteers will be contacted by e-mail with the particulars of the day.

Guild ReachOut at 27th Annual
Women & Spirituality Conference
More than 600 people from around the United States attended the Women & Spirituality Conference at Minnesota State University in Mankato, Minnesota, on October 11 and 12. ReachOut volunteers DeeAnn Gieseke, Dave Nelson, Lois Weber (lead volunteer), Kathy Wolf, and Mary Zelmer gave more than 80 individual energy-balancing sessions during the conference. A big thank you to them!
There were many presentations, including ones on Spring Forest Qigong given by DeeAnn Gieseke and Lois Weber. People who received energy balancing often remarked about how much calmer they felt and said their pain was reduced. Reaching out and helping others is powerful for the healer as well as the recipient, and ReachOut volunteers commented on how much better they felt, too.
Guild ReachOut Volunteers
at Kids' Health Fair
Traveling Team volunteers Jesse Sia and Bruno Franck performed sample healings at the Kids' Health Fair, an event hosted by the Golden Sun Wellness Center in St. Louis Park, Minnesota, on October 29, 2008. They enjoyed the opportunity to work together and share energy and information on the benefits of Spring Forest Qigong with clients and staff at the Wellness Center. Thank you, Jesse and Bruno, for reaching out and making a difference!

Correction: In the last issue of the Energy Connection, Sally Quan was pictured (right) at a ReachOut Traveling Team event with a person we called "an interested visitor." The person was interested, but she was certainly no visitor--she was the Guild's own Bridget Harrington, a dedicated volunteer!
