SFQ Family Guild Members:

• Children ages 13-17 of Guild Family Members can bring their children for free to the World Conference.

• If your child is 18 – 24, their adult child is invited to enroll in the Guild in $35 Student Membership and get 15% off World Conference registration.

• The only cost for a child attending is $50 Meal Fee to cover all World Conference meals and conference Break Snacks. This Fee includes 4 meals over two days and there is no proration.

• All children 13-17 are to be accompanied by an attending Guild family member parent. We leave it to the discretion of the parent as to whether any attending child is able to participate in an entire day session.

Clothes – Pillows - Meditation Blanket

Attire for the World Conference is business casual. Summer in Minnesota is beautiful, but it is always wise to bring a sweater and light jacket.

For meditation we recommend you bring a shawl or travel blanket and a pillow. For those of you traveling from overseas, or out-of-state, you can always use a pillow from your hotel room.

Transportation From Minneapolis International Airport (MSP)

There is a SuperShuttle that runs from Minneapolis Airport to the hotel. The Super Shuttle does stop at other hotels. If you need to expedite your arrival to the hotel, then it is recommended you take a cab. Cars can also be rented right at the Minneapolis International Airport (MSP).

International reservations must be booked online.

Reservations can be made at any time up to a year in advance. Be sure to update your reservation a day or so prior to travel if your flight information changes.

Immediately after you make your reservation, you will receive an email confirmation which will have all of the information and directions to get you from baggage claim to the SuperShuttle Ground Transportation Center. Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 will be different directions, but they will be spelled out.

Approximate cost is $24 from the airport to the Minneapolis Marriott Southwest.

The reservation system will suggest an 18% gratuity to be built in – you can do that if you wish, but I would suggest you put “zero” in there and tip in cash after the service has been performed.

If you have 4 people or more (up to 10) you can reserve a private van that will take you directly to the hotel for $90 total – the more people, the more savings.
