Mission
The Guild was created to help interested students deepen their understanding of Spring Forest Qigong techniques and meditations leading them to a fuller understanding of their spiritual nature. And, through this fuller understanding, enhancing the ability each of us is born with, to utilize the energy of the universe in order to help heal ourselves, our families, friends, communities and our world.

The name, Guild, was chosen for specific reasons. Historically, guilds were created to assist like-minded individuals in increasing their knowledge and skill in a particular practice. Additionally, guilds were also known to focus on community service and assisting others. So it shall be with the Spring Forest Qigong International Guild; Education, Support, Spiritual Growth and Service to Others.

Membership
The Guild provides members with guidance and support, opportunities for spiritual growth, assistance with the healing practices, encouragement and fellowship.

Guild members have increased opportunities to learn from Master Lin and from Spring Forest Qigong Master Jim Nance. Members also have additional opportunities to take part in special healing meditations conducted by Master Lin.

Meetings
The Guild meets on the second and fourth Saturdays of the month. The gatherings are two fold in design; first they are educational, leading members to a deeper understanding of Spring Forest Qigong.

Secondly, and more importantly, there is the opportunity for individuals to deepen their practice of the active exercises and meditations along with the healing practices. These meeting are open to all students who have completed a level one SFQ class or SFQ home study course.

Benefits
Most important among the benefits of Guild membership is the opportunity to come together twice a month to learn, socialize, meditate and deepen ones healing abilities.

• Insight
  Often Master Lin joins us to give us new insights, guidance, encouragement and lead us in meditation. Though meetings are open to all SFQ students who have completed level one, registration fees are significantly higher for nonmembers.
  
  
• Special Healing Sessions
  Members have the opportunity to participate in four group phone healings with Master Lin during the course of the year. These sessions usually occur during the time of spring and fall equinox and the summer and winter solstice.

  Guild members receive the following discounts:
  20% discount on SFQ merchandise and learning materials *
  10% discount on healing sessions at the Healing Center
  10% discount on phone healing sessions
  10% discount on SFQ sponsored classes, seminars and retreats **

• Video
  During 2008 the educational presentations at Guild meetings will be video taped and later posted on the Guild web page for viewing by Guild members. Access to these videos requires a Guild membership and password. There is a nominal charge to view these videos to cover production costs.
