A Whole-Hearted Embrace
Finding Love at the Center of It All
by Patrick Dougherty

Spring Forest Qigong is happy to announce the publication of Patrick Dougherty's second book, A Whole-Hearted Embrace: Finding Love at the Center of It All. Patrick has been a student of Master Chunyi Lin and Spring Forest Qigong since 1995. He is an SFQ Level Two certified instructor and a SFQ master healer. He has presented at several professional conferences and workshops, locally and nationally, with Master Lin. Patrick is a licensed psychologist practicing in St. Paul, Minnesota.
This book tells a remarkable story of his experiences of tragedy and loss, healing and grace, and how he found the beautiful message that what is in your heart is far greater that any burden you can carry or any tragedy you have experienced.
"Inspiring story of overcoming great trials and tragedy to experience true happiness. It is instructive to us all, and goes right to the heart of all healing -- to the power of love." Marci Shimoff, a #1 NYT's bestselling author of Happy for No Reason and Chicken Soup for the Women's Soul.
"Dougherty tells us, with clarity and grace, how he was healed, psychologically and spiritually. If you'd like inspiration or courage to embrace your life and to live a life centered in love, this is a good book for you." Gay Hendrick, Ph.D., author of The Big Leap: Conquer your hidden fear and take your life to the next level, and NYT's bestseller, The Five Wishes.
"It is rare to find a book where the words jump off the page and pour into your heart. Dougherty's book does more than nourish us with the truth of testimony: it brings down the light and it touches us in a good healing way." Bradford Keeney, Ph.D., Professor, California Institute of Intergral Studies, San Francisco author of Shamans of the World: Extraordinary first person accounts of healings, mysteries and miracles, and The Creative therapist: The art of awakening a clinical session.
"The stories of his passion for healing and how that came to him and transformed his life will inspire anyone. He has found one of the keys to success -- look inside and you will find everything you need to survive and thrive, in the center of your heart." Jack Canfield, Co-author of The success Principles and the NYT's bestseller Chicken Soup for the Soul series.
